Wandering around Rotterdam
While wandering around in Rotterdam, explorer Valentino Stakel kept thinking about The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This novel inspired him to capture some moments and places in the city.
Family Matters — The days of love seeping in the city of Rotterdam. It dwells under the feet of this man of age. He’s holding his grandchildren firm and steady, on a road that seems uneven.
Love — The scent of love was in the air. The late summer was dipping behind the buildings. This lovely couple made everything feel poetic; the streetlight, the absent of the sun. They shone bright in a world full of troubles.
Maashaven & Rijnhaven — Part of the skyline of Rotterdam. This view takes my breath away.
Rotterdam, I Love You — Rotterdam is a beautiful city. It is a breathing city. It’s constantly brought alive by many events and many different cultures. The city has something youthful in it, a certain carpe diem mentality, that you could sense on this pleasant street. The sky is looming, the bridge is hanging in the back. And the couple gives birth to love. I tell ya, I just love this place, I adore Rotterdam.
Maashaven — This is the open route, to an unknown future.
